Ridiculously Cheap Fares to Sint Maarten From Major US East Coast Cities on American & Delta

I’ve been poking around this morning, looking at fares from some major U.S. cities, and there are some extraordinarily cheap fares being offered online the last time I checked. So, I wanted to let everyone know about what I found so far. This is by no means an all-inclusive list but it will give you an idea of how cheap the fares are to SXM.

Please keep in mind, these fares are subject to change and in no way constitute an offer. You must go to the airline directly, or through a travel service, to confirm these prices are still available. You will also want to find out what the cancellation policies are since we are still in hurricane season.

In addition, I am working to gather information on hotels and room availability. Keep in mind, most hotels experienced major damage from Hurricane Irma and are not open. So capacity on the island is way down. If you book a flight, make sure you have arranged for a place to stay in advance of doing so.

The fares noted below may or may not still be available. These are the lowest fares I’ve found for the noted markets. There may be, and in most cases are, flights that are earlier in the month but I’m only including dates I found for the lowest fares.

JFK

I fell in love with the island of Saint Martin the first time I visited to celebrate my 40th birthday in May of 2009. Since then, I've spent most birthdays there, and have visited countless other times getting to know this wonderful place and the friendly locals that make it so special. I adore the culture, the people, the community, and the beauty of this stunning island. SXM Strong is a website that I started to support humanitarian relief efforts following Hurricane Irma. There was no plan, it just evolved as I witnessed the devastation that Irma caused the island and the huge need to communicate and disseminate information about what had happened and how people could help support this island and its people.
